Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the Custom Fanfiction Generator processes and stores. We aim to collect as little as possible.

What we process

The form inputs you submit: fandom or universe, characters, scenario, and optional story settings (genre, tone, length, relationships, tropes, plot notes). These are used to generate your story.

The stories generated for you, and — only if you use Save Story or Load History — the email address you enter for that feature.

Basic usage-limit data used to apply fair per-network limits.

OpenAI

To generate and continue stories, your brief and prior story text are sent to the OpenAI API, which produces the generated text. We do not control OpenAI's own processing.

Storage

Stories and saved history are stored in a local SQLite database on the server. For abuse protection we store a salted one-way hash derived from your IP address together with a date and request counts — we do not store your raw IP address.

How we use data

Personal data is not sold. Please do not submit sensitive personal information. Stored data may remain until deleted by the operator or until a future deletion feature is added.
